The Cabinet of Iran on Wednesday approved conditional visa waiver for the holders of diplomatic passport between Uzbekistan and Iran according to the agreement during recent visit of Iranian President to Uzbekistan between the governments of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Uzbekistan on the condition of reciprocity.
Accordingly, conditional visa waiver for the holders of diplomatic passport will be activated by complying with the 30-day stay period within 6 months from the date of first entry.
Prior to this, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, on July 15, 2022, heading a parliamentary delegation, arrived in Uzbekistan and urged visa waiver between Uzbekistan and Iran.
